On patience, and the making of a good belt
A single belt passes through eleven pairs of hands before it leaves our workshop. We follow one, from hide to buckle.
The Autumn Edit — 2025
A quiet collection of everyday leather goods. Cut, stitched and finished by hand, in a small workshop we know by name.

The House
Every barebasics piece is the work of a small team who know each other by first name. We choose the hide, cut it by pattern, edge it, saddle-stitch it, and finish it by hand.
We are not fast, and we do not intend to be. What we make is meant to be used, and to age with you.

Craftsmanship
A saddle-stitched seam takes eight times longer than a machined one. It also outlasts it by decades.

The House
Where our leather is chosen, cut, edged and finished — always by the same small team.
